Plate of Origin is a competition that sees top restaurants from Palmerston North City and Manawatu team up with some of the best restaurants from around the country to showcase New Zealand’s finest food and wine. Plate of Origin is run in association with Cuisine, and Visa Wellington On a Plate.
Ten local restaurants have partnered with a restaurant in a different region from across the country. Each restaurant partnership will create a Plate of Origin dish highlighting hero produce from the partnered region. The meals will be main dishes available for both lunch or dinner Tuesday through Saturday throughout the NZ AgriFood Investment Week.
