ASB Innovation Zone Launch

Hon. Nathan Guy, Minister for Primary Industries, will open the new ASB Innovation Zone on the morning of Thursday 16 March. It will showcase the latest in rural innovation and development concepts, and will include a seminar series to inspire and engage event-goers with new ways of thinking in the industry.

What is “agrifood”, why does it matter and what does it mean for New Zealand farmers?

Increasingly we hear the term “agrifood” and the need to become market makers not price takers – that synthetic meats and insect proteins are here, now – but what does that mean for New Zealand’s farmers and food producers? Come and join our expert panel to debate New Zealand’s agrifood future including global food trends, what drives global consumers to buy New Zealand food, and ideas for how the industry can work together to gather customer insights and meaningfully share this information with our farmers to enact change from the grassroots up.
